THE THE CHRISTMAS STORY MOVIE CAME OUT IN 1983 , IT CAME IN A BLISTER PACK NOT A BOX  . AS YOU CAN SEE THE CLEAR PLASTIC ON THIS BLISTER PACK IS TIGHTENED UP WITH AGE AND SPLIT OPEN AT THE STOCK END OF THE GUN . THE SUNDIAL AND THE COMPASS IS NOT SHOWING BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY PACKED IT BUT I ASSURE YOU IT IS THERE I FELT IT . AT ONE TIME THIS GUN MAY HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE EXISTING PACKAGE BEFORE I GOT THE GUN FROM A COLLECTION . AS YOU CAN SEE THE PRICE ON THE PRICE TAG AT THE END OF THE BOX WAS $29.97 . Recently we have discovered that this is a 1984 second year that was packed in 1983 packing before they stated putting them in boxes so the only thing we can figure out is they used up the 1983 packing before they started putting them in the full boxes to use up what they had already printed up the only difference in this gun is the compass is a little larger than it was in the 1983 . IT IS IN NEW CONDITION . We was told by the collector that we bought this gun from that he bought it new and he was the only owner and this is the way it came . THE SHIPPING ON THIS GUN WOULD BE $35
