This is a copy of the very first gun produced by the Plymouth iron windmill company in 1889 . It was given to farmers that bought windmills and the gun became so popular by the farmers and the youngsters and the wind mills were slow movers so they dropped making them and started producing the air gun and they sold thousands. The head man of the company at this time saw this gun and it was demonstrated and he said that’s a real daisy and that name stuck and the company became Daisy Plymouth air gun in Plymouth Michigan this is number 261 of 1000 reproduction produced . This gun will be shipped to you in the same shipping box along with the wooden shavings and gun box and all paperwork medallion and bbs . It will shoot if you desire to shoot it this one has never been shot . These were put on the market in 2009 1000 one time . Very collectible they have more than doubled from the original price and continues to climb . I have seen them sell for $1200 . I’am selling mine for $950 plus shipping and insurance.
